    i did recover like 98% ... i went from crying in a corner and not eating at all to the happiest man in the world .. guys it's all mental ... don't stress about it ( i know it's hard but you have to ignore it and don't try to listen to it try to focus on other things and you need to believe that it will go away ) and good sleep helps very well and i'll tell you STRESS is the biggest trigger of tinitus

    28.47 "You don't want to focus on tinnitusy things." That's like asking someone not to focus on the fist that is being pummelled into their face while they are being beaten up. I'm only two and a half years in but am on the edge of sanity and pray for death. It's not just the T. It's the stuffy head. Clicking, ticking and the crackling when I swallow. I'm so tired of not having a life anymore. How can medical science transplant a heart and lungs into another body yet there is not one form of relief for this.

    I cured mine through intermittent fasting and exercising like running and walking after eating. Avoid all junk foods in the world like sweet and salty. If you get tempted, eat a little bit and drink a lot of water. Practice your mind not to fear anything. God will provide and help if we keep trusting in Him. We are all healed by his word and by His sufferings. That's more than enough.

    7:03 Wow. You're saying a lot, but you're really not saying a lot. You're just really just using filler words and you're not getting to the point so I will get to the point I will say. What people really want to hear? How do I get rid of the sound? I believe this condition can be cured. I don't care what anybody else says. I believe this condition can be one hundred percent cured I follow doctor joe dispenza. And if the people at his retreats go in unable to walk and then are able to walk out because they go to his retreat that are 5 or 7 days. Or maybe they do whatever they do whatever they learn with him and they do it for 30 days and their condition is gone and is cured. Then why can't I cure the ringing in my ears? So this is what I'm going to suggest and if people want to try it and believe it fine. Because anything will work if you believe in it And if you believe all these naysayers saying there's no cure, there's no cure, just live with it. Just live with it well then. Okay. Then that's going to be your reality, because what you believe becomes true It was a few years ago .2018/2019... I had a little bit more money back in those days. And I had access to more money and I was able to get the supplements that I needed What supplements were they CoQ10 SkullCap NAC And I did take more magnesium. I used to have a magnesium oil. Or magnesium spray that I would spray on my body everyday and I took these supplements regularly. Sometimes they overlapped. Sometimes they didn't meaning maybe I ran out of school cap. On the 5th of the month and couldn't get more skull cap. Until the fifteenth of the months. And maybe I ran out of nac. On the twelfth of the month and couldn't get more until the twenty fifth of the month. You get my drift. If you want to have these supplements every single day without any gap, then you need to make more money or you need to have more money in your 401 k that you can pull out at any time, which is great if you can do that Now, back in those years that I gave you, I was doing two different things and it's all related to lifestyle. Like people like to say diet. I'm going on a diet. Well there's no such thing as going on a diet because a diet is what you eat. So if your diet is hot, dogs and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ding d**** and twicks and snickers. Candy bars, and you have 5 sodas a day. And you drink 5 pepsies a day and you have 20 oz of water a day and you eat potato chips, hot dogs and you have no vegetables. Whatsoever. Maybe you have some French fries once in a while. But other than that, you really don't eat fresh. Clean crysiverous vegetables. I definitely don't have Brussels sprouts. You don't make any steamed broccoli. Or steamed asparagus, you don't eat kale. Spinach these are chrysiberus vegetables. You might have a little bit of fruit, okay? But you really don't eat A Ketogenic lifestyle And the other thing is, you don't eat paleo. What is paleo that is staying away from grains Grains have been shown to increase production of lectines in the body lectins block leptin and lepton as the hunger hormone that says stop, i'm full, I don't want to eat. So if you want to lose weight, don't eat foods that are high in lectines. That way you're not blocking leptin. Now, if this lepton is a good thing and it helps people feel full than what else could it do in the body. It's lectins block leptin... Then what else can lectines do? I'm using speech to text so you have to. Might. You might have to look up the words to find out what I'm talking about. Because I am using speech to text. So 2018 2019...yes. i was eating about 50 grams of fat And I mean saturated fat from seeds, pumpkin seeds? She has seeds flaxseeds. I was eating a lot of nuts. And no, I'm not talking about peanuts. Because peanuts is not a nut, it is in legume. And legumes have high levels of lectins! And I said I was eating nuts. I'm talking about Brazil nuts macadamia. Nuts um almonds, cashews, pistachios. Those are true tree nuts get away from the peanut. Nobody needs them they're not healthy. I also didn't really eat a lot of sugar. I wasn't taking the I wasn't doing red bowls. And monster drinks and things like that I was primarily drinking water. And I was probably drinking at least a minimum of fifty ounces of water a day. I did lose weight I lost a lot of weight because I wasn't doing all the white carbohydrates and people forget that carrots, Brussels, sprouts and kale and spinach and broccoli. Those are carbohydrates, they're all carbohydrates. You want carbohydrates get green carbohydrates And what I noticed was, I didn't just lose 80 pounds now. It took me a year and a 1/2 to lose the 80 pounds. It also took me a lot of aerobic exercises where I was either doing some. Type of aerobics or zumba three or four days a week, but what I noticed was the ringing in my ears wasn't as bad. And I hate to say it, but when I had COVID, the COVID symptoms that I had was not coughing or anything like that when I had COVID, it was. I think it was January 2022 and all my symptoms were sinus. Related, so it's really important for me to regulate my parasympathetic. Nervous system. So anything that I have to do to engage that parasympathetic nervous system, meditation yoga walking in nature, anything like that, but that's not enough for me. I must take coq 10 magnesium on skull cap. What else besides ONAC? Now i'm trying .... Ginkle boloba. So I'm going to attribute the ringing in my ears getting worse to me getting COVID and like I said me getting COVID had nothing to do with coughing or chest. I never get chest Coats, never never never if I'm sick. It is always always sinus. It is always my new station tubes or something around my sinuses where my nose is all plugged up. And I can't breathe because I got this mucus. In my sinuses that it stuck, and that is when I get sick And it is super super super super important for me to always engage the parasympathetic nervous system. So I'm down regulating the anxiety that I have so that I can live my life. Because I don't need to be hyper focused on. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe because my nose is blocked. Because I have a sinus infection. Or maybe it's not a sinus infection, it's just a buildup of nucus and I want to be able to breathe, but re iterating I can't breathe. I can't breathe. They can't breathe, doesn't help. And I am going to know that I can cure the ringing in my ears. I'm going to know that I can cure it. Because all this b******* about just live with it and decrease the ringing bunch of b******* No, no I believe I can cure this. I'm following doctor joe dispenza I suggest you get on his website and listen to his latest video. Unfortunately, it's no longer free. It was free on 6/23/24. Now I think it's $26 and that documentary is probably going to come out on UA-cam and probably I'm going to say a month. You can listen to Dr. Joe dispensa for free on UA-cam or Spotify or any other platform. So I don't believe just live with the ringing in the ears. I don't buy into that not at all

      14:42 You're still going through it. You're taking too long to say what you need to say. You're taking too long. People want to know how to get rid of it and when I talk about get rid of it, this is what I mean. This is what I mean when I say people want to get rid ofYou're still going through it. You're taking too long to say what you need to say. You're taking too long. People want to know how to get rid of it and when I talk about get rid of it, this is what I mean. This is what I mean when I say people want to get rid of it Picture yourself you get up. You do your morning routine. Maybe you have a cup of coffee. You have your tea, whatever you do, it's a Monday. It's a Tuesday. It's a regular work day you're working. You're lucky you're working. You're lucky your employee. You're not staying home doing nothing or you're not staying home with the kids. You are one of the lucky ones you are going to work today. And you don't work from home. So you get up, you do what you have to do. You turn the TV on or whatever you do. Maybe you watch the news for 15 minutes. Or maybe you don't. It doesn't matter, you're busy. You go about your day. You go to the job you go to the office. Or maybe you work outside whatever you do. You're not really thinking about the ringing in your ears because you're busy. You're talking to people. You're on the phone you're doing this. You're doing that? You come home. Maybe you have a wife, maybe you have a husband maybe you don't. Maybe you live alone. They give a dog and you take care of the dog or the cat or whatever and you have responsibilities and you do all that, but there comes a time when you need to go to bed and it's now 10 or 11 o'clock at night. All the lights are off. You're not being stimulated and now. Picture picture this with me. You are going to you are in a dark dark room and you only have one candle lit in that dark room. That's all you're going to see. And you've tried to ignore that candle, but you can't. I'm telling you to think of a dark room but I'm telling you think of a candle. How can you not think of a candle? You go to bed thinking God. This ringing in my ear is so loud. All day long you were bustling, you were here. You were there. It didn't really bother you, but at night it becomes quite loud You go to bed ignoring it like you always do. And then you wake up at 3 or 4 AM. And the first thing you hear is this loud buzzing? And it's the same thing every day. It's the loud buzzing you go there. It is. I gotta get up. I gotta do the same old thing again. I gotta get ready for work. I gotta make the coffee. I gotta do this. I gotta do that, you're out the door within an hour or 2, and now you're driving to work for 30 minutes or you're driving to work for 90 minutes. Maybe that's how long it takes, and you forget about the ringing in your ear and this goes on and on and on. And on and on for the rest of your life, what people want to know is that candle, when they are going to bed and there is no lights on how to blow out the candle in the dark, that's what people want to know they want to know when the lights are off and they're in. Bed and no one is talking and no 1 is saying anything and there's no stimulation. They want to know how to get rid of the ringing in their ears. They're not asking. How do I lower it during the day? They're not asking. What do I need to do oh I need to do some yoga. Oh I need to stay away from the negativity blah blah blah they want to know how do i blow out the candle when i go to bed? I don't want to see the candle in the dark. I want pitch black. I don't want to hear the ringing in the ears when I wake up at 3 AM. And that's what people want to know, because what you're telling people is, how to reduce it, do yoga, do meditation? And that's all fine and dandy, but we need to go further than that and I believe we can all heal our ringing in our ears. I believe it is achievable, but people telling people. Oh, it's just live with it. Oh, just live with it. That's a bunch of b*******

    Tinnitus will be with you for the rest of your life. But over time it will become nothing to you, when you realize that it is harmless. I agree that it has to do with calming your nerves down and change your perception of life. Trust me, it took me over five years to get over it and become habituated. I would consider myself an extreme case as I even considered suicide. Just do not focus on it and move on with your life. Focusing on it puts you in a spiraling downward circle. Keep yourself occupied but slow down your life and focus on the simple things. Mr Hill videos are great and I sure these retreats are great. However, I am sure it cost lots of money to visit and attend. I could not afford that. However, I did buy and read his book. Hope this helps anyone looking for answers.

      @JulianCowanHill 11 днів тому

      No tinnitus will not be with you for the rest of your life. Please be careful about such negative statements. That is like saying you are in the sauna and you are going to sweat for the rest of your life. Tinnitus is a changeable feast. Every day I hear of people getting down to a 0 out of 10. This is not a miracle. This happens after a process of letting go, switching off, settling and learning about how to get better. It can take time for tinnitus to recede. I had it for 20 years. I know this. But it can go.

      @@JulianCowanHill Hmmm wonder where all these stories are of people who have gone from 10-0…. tinnitus can be a horrible, debilitating condition. I am 32 years old and life is in complete shambles over what has happened to me. It will be 13 months tomorrow. 13 months of utter suffering and my life stolen from me due to a sinus infection. No amount of your bogus meditation and cranial sacral therapy can fix this. You either never had tinnitus or you still do and you’re just “habituated”- this is not the same as it going away. The above poster is also wrong- tinnitus can go away. There are very fortunate people out there, but that usually didn’t occur out of snake oil crap. It was their destiny and time to get better.

    • @JulianCowanHill
      @JulianCowanHill 7 днів тому

      Thanks for your message. I know it can be infuriating hearing about people getting better when you are going through a shit storm. You can read 150 stories of people getting better on my app www.quietenapp.com Go to the positive stories section and you will find the "Positive Feedback" document. I had tinnitus so badly I couldn't sleep, work or function. I couldn't hear the phone ring. It was a living hell. In 2000 I had my first experience of silence after 20 years of hissing, screeching, sirens, jet engines, squeeks, rushing and whooshings, and in 2002 it went away for good. Habitation is getting used to a sound, getting better is hearing nothing. Tinnitus can go away. What I am sharing is true. I think I would have said the same thing had I read this myself in 1999 while I was going through hell. But if you learn from people who have got better you might just start opening up your mind and nervous system and learn how to get better yourself. The snake oil is happening in your mind. I am working with Dr Michael Golenhofen who is one of the best ENTs in the world. We agree on most things when it comes to tinnitus. Maybe I can dress him up in a snake suit and I can blow a pipe and we can make a video and send it to you! In the meantime please connect with real people and real stories and you may find some help. Wishing you well Julian

    I have MES and it is for me a great gift. I can change the music I am hearing. I had never played an instrument. During Covid I acquired an eight bar tone harp and began playing the music I was continually hearing. I then recalled many, many, pieces of music from my childhood throughout my entire life and played them by ear. The music ranges from folk to classic. I also hear classical music of my own creation. I am old and I am most definately now almost totally deaf. When I see others complaining about hearing songs repeditively, I have asked 'why don't you just change the music and listen to melodies which give you pleasure'. Oddly, my suggestion 'falls on deaf ears', they choose not to. My only fear is losing my hearing to the degree I can no longer play the music. Again, I am grateful for this beautiful experience and wish others could see their MES as something which has the potential to enrich their lives and give pleasure to others.

    Hi, Julian. Glad i found your YT Channel. I have somatic tinnitus which can be increase with my eye moves, jaw clench or muschle tension and anxiety attacks (cause i squueze my muscles when i have panic attack or anxiety). I have TMJ so i always clench my jaw and teeths badly 7/24. I hope i will be free of T. Thank u for givin me hope. Also i have no problem with hearing i have only T for 2 years on both side. I read an article, one woman has a T (T is responsive with her eye moves) also she has a hearing problem and this woman does eye exercise everyday sometimes her T spikes but than after 1 month she got better due to everyday eye exercise! Did u know that? If you want to read that article which i found on online that was really long detailed experiment i can send you link. i am really curious what will you think about that experiment. Thank you!

    Could it still take months for the tinnitus to go away even after the body has settled? In my experience there’s a lag with the body and the mind. For example, there’s a few months delay until psychological stress manifests physically. Similarly it takes some months for the physical stress to relax even after the psyche has settled. Just wonder if it’s the same with tinnitus as well

    • @JulianCowanHill
      @JulianCowanHill 15 днів тому

      Yes, annoyingly tinnitus can be slow to improve and quick to react to stress or loud noise. Also, once we have come out of fight or flight mode, there can still be habitual tendencies to check up on the ears from learnt behaviour. This is why it is really important to replace tinnitus behaviours eg looking for it, with yawning and face massage as per my app. www.quietenapp.com Please go to the matrix and click on the upper levels 5, 6 and 7 for helpful advice what to do further down the road in the process of getting better. Hope this helps. Best wishes, Julian.

      @@JulianCowanHill Thank you :) I’ve been doing yoga and stretches as well as going to a physio therapist. And in just two months it’s gone from an 8/10 to a 0.2-0.5. I’d say that’s quite quick and some days I don’t even hear it at all.

    is this due to cortisol levels reducing as anxiety reduces? If tinnitus or hyperacusis comes and goes, then there must be a chemical or hormonal response that is causing it to come back correct?

    Hi Julian, I recently got tinnitus and am still figuring out what to do by watching your videos. I am a musician and love making music. Would you recommend stopping music while this heals? I am trying sound therapy and mental reset right now and for the next few months. Your response would mean a lot to me. Thanks,

    • @JulianCowanHill
      @JulianCowanHill 17 днів тому

      I don't recommend stopping music. Music is one of the best maskers on the planet and if you love making it, it is good for focusing your hearing. BUT you need to stay within your comfort zone as far as loudness is concerned. Please get good musician's earplugs that are tailor made for you. I have worked with many musician's over the years and suggest you contact me for an online session on info@juliancowanhill.co.uk and we can talk this through in detail. In the meantime please download my app www.quietenapp.com and work your way through the First Things First section. Look forward to working with you, best wishes Julian
